notation

i found interested in the notation as aisling mentioned:
richard galpin does extraordinary work examining notation, communicating erasure and photographic structure. although not examining human activity
per se, his work strongly communicates ‘content’, using the barest of
means.
the structure of a literature is amazingly visible when its punctuations are extracted. however, those extractions seem to unpropotionally emphasize the questioning and explantory parts due to the bigger size of question mark and parentheses. does galpin intend to give a sort of summary in favor of questions and explanations?
